Graphite flange bushings (also known as flange bearings) are used whenever support is needed for a shaft that runs perpendicular to the bearing’s mounting surface. With this support, we can avoid problems with high speeds and heavy loads that cause shafts to flex, vibrate, or otherwise move. Dimensions on these bushings can vary; they can be manufactured in a variety of lengths, diameters, and thicknesses.

Our Oilless Bushing has been developed for high load, low-speed applications and is made of rotational cast high-strength bronze using a specially formed graphite plug as a lubricant.

Self-lubricating bearings with different metal materials

JDB-1 solid lubricant embedded bushing is a new type made from strong brass and homogeneously embedded with solid lubricant in its body. It breaks through the limit of general bearing whose lubrication depends on an oil film. So it is suitable for high temperatures. heavy duty, anti-corrosion, or where it is hard to be introduced. Its performance doubles both on hardneswear wears friction. It is now widely applied in successive casting machines, steel rollers in metallography, mineral machine, ships, steam turbine, hydraulic turbines, and injection molding machines for plastics.

Suitable for low load position, wear performance worsens greatly when under middle or high load Can be applied in furnace door linage, furnace, conveyor, tool machines, light industries, etc.

The mating layer is the same as JDB-2 so that more cost-saving than JDB-2 whereas compression strength increases and is weldable. Bronze Flange bearings, or flange bushings, are a bronze sintered, oil-impregnated bushing featuring a flange that is designed to support a load. Flange bushings are used at lower speeds and lighter loads while still allowing the mating shaft to slide freely within the bushing. Flange bearings are similar to cylindrical sleeve bearings, but have a flange on one end, which acts as a load-bearing surface for axial loads. They are often used in agriculture, aircraft, and automotive applications as well as in appliances, machine tools, and hydraulics.
