Our Bronze Bushings are machined from continuous cast C93200 (SAE 660) bronze for superior quality and performance. The continuous casting process assures a uniform bronze structure throughout the bearing, free from porosity and hard particle inclusions commonly found in other cast processes.
C93200 bronze is a type of bearing bronze that contains a high percentage of tin, which gives it excellent wear resistance and good corrosion resistance. It is commonly used in applications such as bushings, bearings, and thrust washers. These standards provide off-the-shelf economy for most applications and may be easily resized, oil-grooved, or graphite to meet special requirements.
C93200 (SAE660 RG7) is considered lead-tin bronze for the “standard” type bearing material. The alloy has excellent processing properties, good hardness, strength and wear resistance, and excellent wear resistance.
